A Click That Secured Their Smiles

Envisioned four years ago in the midst of a casual conversation between Anand Mahindra and Atul Kasbekar, Proud Fathers For Daughters was conceptualised to change the mindsetstowards the girl child.

The idea has always been about celebrating the precious father-daughter bond in beautiful photoshoots and sending out a positive message to instil pride in having daughters.

Project Nanhi Kali celebrated the 4th season of Proud Fathers for Daughters on the 5th and 6th of August, 2017. Ace photographers, Atul Kasbekar, Colston Julian, Jaideep Oberoi, Prasad Naik, Suresh Natarajan and Nisha Kutty donated their talent and time to help us #EducateTheGirlChild. This season had huge support from Mahindra Rise. They helped us reach out to more fathers and supported our initiative through the entire campaign month.

Many father-daughter duos from various walks of life showed their support by registering and getting their pictures clicked.

Some of the names that graced our events were Sonakshi Sinha, Rohan Gavaskar with his daughter, VikramadityaMotwani with his daughter, Amrita Puri with her father Aditya Puri, A D Singh with his daughter, Hrishi K with his daughter, PoojaHegde with her father, to name just a few. The 4th season of Proud Fathers For Daughters carved a new benchmark and we promise to go higher from here on. We thank each and every father-daughter who registered to be a part of our event and everyone who helped us spread the word on social media. Your support has helped our Nanhi Kalis to go to school. We continue to strive to #EducateTheGirlChild and challenge the patriarchal mindset towards the girls. We hope to bring to you a bigger season next year.
